Cultural Extra Mural Activities
CHESS
We have junior & senior chess teams who compete against other schools in different chess tournaments in the year. We teach our learners the skill of playing chess as we see the benefits it adds to them as individuals. Learning how to play chess helps you concentrate, improves your logic, teaches you how to play by the rules, teaches you how to take responsibility for your actions & helps students learn problem solving in an uncertain environment.

CHOIR
We are fortunate to have a junior choir (Gr. 1-3 – Conducted by Ms. H Herselman) as well as a senior choir (Gr. 4-7 – Conducted by Mr C. Naude). The choirs serve as industry organization that gives all prospective artists in the music component the opportunity to develop and hone their talent. We compete annually on various platforms such as the Eisteddfod where we do well. We like to sing different genres and enjoy the cohesion amongst the learners. Music is part of our existence.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
A learner faces many challenges and we know everyone’s circumstances differ. There are learners who have the ability to move forward and others who only maintain. Learners should stay focused on their academics but the truth is if he/she only work they miss out on other aspects of childhood. Cultural activities stimulate learners by improving their creative thinking, improving social & organizational skills & developing their talents. We are so excited to launch a mass of new cultural activities in 2022 including our yearly music Production. As well as the following:
